How did we get here, where did we go so wrong?
We need to stop fighting for justifications of our blood stained sins and instead recognize our sin big or small, take action against our sin through repentance and not action against other people. In the presence of The Lord no evil can exist. One thing holds true, if we all get into the presence of the Lord, all evilness and wickedness flees! There is no deal that can be made with evil!

“Peace I give unto you, not as the world gives but as I give” -Jesus

Let’s keep praying for each section of the community we drive by.

The times that we live in are incredibly dangerous. Not as the famous going around expression "in danger" but dangerous for all. Walking around, I see fear, division, uncertainty in people's eyes. I sense fear all around people and the majority of the time I see them in a state of confusion. People are starting to lose their identity deep down inside their soul and no matter how well they hide it, it still shows. My heart weeps inside as I see broken vessels walking among the dead who are desperately needing resurrection. Church, we need God more than ever and not another excuse for our actions to continue.
Yes, black lives matter. Yes, all lives matter, and if all lives matter than there is no need to segregate one party of a race on a cardboard sign for there are many more houses burning than just one, many more "one" sheep that's gone astray. Leaders, we need to direct people back to the identity which God sees us as. We need leaders of all color, all cultures to step up and be courageous in Biblical principles. No more bending and stretching scripture to please congregation rising them to their feet in applause when we need to be falling onto our knees as a church carrying each other burdens. Jesus is our final approval of our actions and not the applause and likes of the people. I understand its almost impossible times right now to be balanced on both sides of the playing fields, but this is not a game we are playing. Lives are at stake spiritually and physically. If this war continues, we will do more damage to The Bride and unto the world. There will be more awakening of the KKK's and Black Panther's movements if we do NOT return to our first LOVE. There will be much more damage and shots fired than already has. But God calls us to be the "Light" and "Salt" of this world. So let us provide good spiritual food of the Gospel to them and be the light by providing them a beacon of hope for living together as one loving church family.
While by the grace of God, we still have time for a fresh start, let us do so with humility and humbleness and allow God to cover us with his blanket of Love. Do you remember how you felt when you laid hands on a person of different color and prayed for them or they for you? Did you feel in danger or did you feel love and peace? Did you feel like you were in a different skin or the same mindset as a brother or a sister? Were you not in sync in the same Spirit? Weren't they the tears of hope and joy you shared together while interceding on behalf of each other? There was no color, no financial status, no politician that could have driven you apart at that moment. Why, because The Word of God says "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are ALL ONE in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28. You see, we are created by God and at that moment we are in oneness with our creator. In that oneness, only an agreement of joy, love can be found amongst us.
So what shall we do? How can change occur yet we don't become divided but instead united? We do what the world calls protest but the Bible calls it fasting.
For starters. We need to turn off the TV and turn on our Bible apps. We need to go on strike against social media by turning it off and allow God to speak to us from His word. This is so important, we have been doing a lot of watching, a lot of talking but not enough listening from His Word. If we cannot listen to God, how are we able to listen to each other? This might be scary but if we put our faith and trust in Him, He without a doubt will show up. The real enemy that we are fighting is not the people of color or the politicians, it is Satan himself. He is always looking for someone to devour and divide. Our real problem? Sin. Our solution? We need to ask Jesus to forgive us, reveal to us who we were meant to be, and ask Jesus to heal us.
I encourage this Sunday, June 7th and 8th, let us fight back satan and stay away from social media while we reflect. Let us unite in prayer and fasting from social media. If the witches and protestors can show up on constant bases, the Church should be able to do much more. Why? Racism is a serious threat not to just all races of people but also His bride because racism divides, and God hates it. Jesus states, "And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand." Mark 3:25.
Let's be the solution instead of part of the complaint. Let us be braver than we are right now and get out of our comfort zone and make a phone call, a text. Let us arrange a meeting where we can go back to our first Love, praying for each other, interceding on behalf of each other and understanding each other through The Word of God. I encourage, if you have any public gathering events, worship nights, prayer night, please invite people of all color, do NOT be afraid. This will show the world a much bigger action than any protest, any statement, any youtube video or any opinion. When the church comes together and prays, it's not just begging or pledging for change from politicians, the church BECAME THE CHANGE for the world to see and set an example by loving in action.
Some verses to ponder over and strengthen each other through how God sees humanity.
* We are ALL created by God: Genesis 1, where God “created man in his own image."
We are all descended from the same parents. Every human being is descended from Adam and Eve (Genesis 1:28). As a result, “The man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living” (Genesis 3:20). As Scripture notes, the Lord “made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth” (Acts 17:26). Because of the Flood, all of humanity can trace our ancestry to Noah as well (Genesis 9:1).
* Every person is equally valuable to God. Paul stated boldly: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). This at a time when many Jews considered Greeks to be unclean and inferior. Some claimed that God made Gentiles so there would be “firewood in hell.” Many refused even to look upon a Gentile in public. Paul repeated this in Colossians. “There is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all” (Colossians 3:11).
* To summarize, “God shows no partiality” (Acts 10:34).
* Each person is equally welcome to salvation in Christ. Our Father’s saving love is available to all: “There is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him” (Romans 10:12).
* His grace is universal: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
* He brakes down walls! “He himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility” (Ephesians 2:14)
* We are to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39 Jesus said "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." John 13:34
* Gospel unites: “You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean” (Acts 10:28).
* All people will be equally valuable in paradise. John was given this vision of heaven: “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands” (Revelation 7:9). What a beautiful picture!
Please share this, there is plenty of news out there but not enough good news. We can be proactive right away by commenting below your next ministry or church's public event. Let's open the door and provide an opportunity for each other instead of arguing in the comment section. Thank you for your respect, and love. May God bless us all richly with wisdom, understanding, love, and unity.
